Terms of use
For the Illucrum SEO crawler at crawler.illucrum.com ·
Effective 28 August 2026 · Last updated 28 August 2026
1. What these terms cover
These terms are between you and Illucrum LLC, 5900
Balcones Drive 21473, Austin, TX 78731-4257, United States ("we", "us"),
and they govern your use of the SEO crawler at
crawler.illucrum.com, including the fetch relay it uses.
They do not cover our audits or the rest of the site. If you commission an audit, the Illucrum terms of service apply to that. Using the crawler puts you under no obligation to buy anything, and we will not contact you because you used it.
By using the tool you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
2. The tool is free, and that is the whole arrangement
There is no charge, no account, no trial and no paid version. We may change the tool, limit it, or take it offline at any time without notice. Nothing here creates a service level, an uptime promise, or a contract to keep it running.
3. What you may point it at
You may crawl any page you are entitled to request — your own sites, a client's site with their agreement, or public pages you are reviewing. The tool reads exactly what any visitor's browser would read.
In using it, you agree not to:
- crawl pages you are not permitted to access, including anything behind a login, a paywall or an authorisation check;
-
ignore a site's
robots.txt, its terms of use, or an explicit request from its owner not to be crawled; - automate, script or loop the tool to get around the 25-URL limit or the pause between requests;
- use the relay as a general-purpose proxy, or to reach anything other than public web pages you intend to analyse;
- use it to place an unreasonable load on any server, to probe for vulnerabilities, or as any part of an attack;
- use it to collect personal data unlawfully, or in breach of any law that applies to you or to the site you are crawling.
You are responsible for what you crawl and for what you do with the output. If you are acting for a client, that is between you and them.
4. The relay
Requests pass through a relay we operate so that a browser can read pages on other domains. It is rate-limited, capped at 25 URLs per run, and subject to a size limit and a timeout per page. We may block traffic, an IP address, or a destination at our discretion, and we may withdraw the shared relay entirely. If you would rather not depend on it, point the Advanced panel at your own endpoint.
5. What the results are, and are not
The tool reports what it found in the HTML it was served. It does not run JavaScript, does not discover pages, does not score anything, and does not check rankings, backlinks or search volume. Word counts are approximate and title lengths are measured in characters, not pixels. The limitations section on the tool page lists this in full, and it is part of these terms by reference.
The output is raw data, not advice. It is not an SEO audit and it is not a verdict on any website. Decisions you take on the basis of it are your own.
6. No warranty
The tool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data it returns is complete or correct.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of the tool, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to USD 100.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
8. Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of how you used the tool — what you crawled, the load you placed on a server, or what you did with the output — you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur as a result.
9. The page and the code
The text, layout and code of this site are ours. You may read it, link to it and share it. You may not republish it, scrape it, or use it to train machine learning models without our written permission.
The data you produce with the tool is yours. We claim no rights over your crawl results or the CSVs you export, and we never receive them.
10. Privacy
What happens to the URLs you enter is set out in the privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the version on this page at the time you use the tool is the one that applies.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute the parties cannot resolve in good faith will be submitted to the courts of Travis County, Texas, United States. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country.
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
